What is HGWars? It's only the coolest browser-based game ever, that's all! Sure, there have been plenty of others before it. Countless others will doubtless follow. Honestly, though, we'd be hard-pressed to think of any we appreciate more. Probably that's because we built it. The only way to know for sure is to play it. And don't worry... it's free!
Important: The game is in the open beta stage. Some small errors and/or exploits may remain. We will be working hard to find and correct these as (or if) they come to our attention. For more information, please refer to the HGWars forum on HonestGamers.
Sorry, but you're not currently signed into an HonestGamers account. All HGWarriors accounts are linked to HonestGamers accounts, so you'll need one to play. If you already have an account, enter your information below to sign in and resume your adventure. Otherwise, register for an HonestGamers account. It's free!
If you sign up for an HonestGamers account, you're encouraged--but not required--to participate on the site, where your involvement can earn you HG Points that can be used for special surprises in HGWarriors. Enjoy!
Remember that even when you're not actively playing, HGWars could be playing you! Return frequently--at least once a day is best--to earn points, attack enemies, reap rewards and see what Venteria has to offer you!

The winner of the previous cycle--by a wide enough margin that we're going to call it minutes ahead of time--was bloomer. The next cycle will be open for competition starting at 12:00AM on June 1, 2009. All accounts will be wiped around that time so that everyone can start fresh. This will enable livelier competition and will allow us to see how things are going in terms of early game balance with everyone on the same page. There likely won't be a lot of tweaking on low-level content for this next cycle, but higher level stuff (including jobs and gear) will hopefully be added as players grow into that stuff on this new cycle. The duration of this cycle has not yet been decided. It will last at least through June 30, 2009. Further announcements will follow.

Level restrictions are now enforced, meaning that players will not be able to attack or rob other players who are more than 10 levels above or below them. This should make it easier for newer players to enter the game without being slaughtered by more experienced veterans. Now it should be a more pleasant experience to join and continue playing the game, so be sure to start referring friends. As a bonus, you can even receive HG Points for doing so!
